This is not a poem

Sometimes i have a feeling the World is heading into a future shrouded in mist.
A mist it´s hard to see any way out of. A mist littered with racism, misogyny and unbridled hatred.
Where dictators and warcriminals are ruling in the highest positions and fascist-wannabees run rampant in elections all over the World.
A World where love and trust is looked at with contempt.
In the US a candidate just won the most powerful office in the World on a fog-filled policy of hate and ridicule. His closest ally is a president you could almost call a Tsar, so powerful is he.
All over Europe rightwing politicians are having a field-day slamming on muslims and leftwing politicians. No one seems interested in sincere dialogue anymore.
Fake news, incompetent news and populist politicians are setting their own agenda, in a no holds barred powerplay, where every single Citizen is an unwilling pawn.
Our leaders don´t care about climatechange, they are more interested in generating profit for their sponsors, and jacking off the global money elite, than they are in protecting our earth and our future.
Sometimes i even think that it is a strategy in a global powerscheme - climatechange will lead to growing numbers of refugees, which will lead to unrest - economically and socially - which will lead the way for a elitist/fascist takeover of our governments. Something that is already happening across the World today.
As we head deeper into the mist, i hope that somewhere in there, someone will show us a way out, into a clear, bright future.
